COVID-19 has swept through many nursing facilities across the country with deadly efficiency. Others remain untouched, however, and in some cases, facilities are beginning to discharge former COVID-19 patients back into the community. No matter where a facility may be along the COVID-19 trajectory, leaders are facing difficult decisions when beginning to “cohort.”
