As Chief Legal Officer at naviHealth, Denise Ceule leads on all legal affairs and brings deep experience in securities law, Denise has spent nearly all of her career in health care, previously serving as vice president, law — corporate and securities at Change Healthcare, formerly Emdeon, where she also served as senior legal counsel. Denise served as senior legal counsel at CVS Caremark as well and worked on the complex 2007 merger of Caremark Rx, Inc. and CVS Corporation. When not at work, Denise enjoys dancing with her daughter in the kitchen, spending time with friends, and searching antique stores for vintage art.
What does a fulfilling life mean to you?A fulfilling life is all about connection. In both my personal life and professional life, I seek to build relationships that are based on authenticity, respect, compassion, and lots of laughter.
As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of naviHealth, Clay Richards has responsibility for the strategic vision and leadership of the organization. Clay spent the majority of his career in health care where he most recently served in executive roles at Healthways, Inc. prior to founding naviHealth. He is active in the community and serves on the board of the Martha O’Bryan Center, which empowers children, youth, and adults in poverty to transform their lives and on the Oak Hill School Board. When he isn’t at work, Clay is on the trails or tennis court or grilling up dinner for his family.
As President of Central Operations at naviHealth, David Adams leads the corporate pre-service operations area and enterprise project management and implementations — as well as the strategy, development, and management of provider engagement and value-based network contracting nationwide. David has spent his career in health care, serving as senior vice president of managed care for U.S. Renal Care where he held enterprise-wide responsibility for revenue strategy, contracting, and relationships with all health plan payers. He also held leadership roles at Humana, EmblemHealth, and WellCare Health Plans. David holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia and an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. When not at work, he enjoys weightlifting and spending time with his family and retired racing greyhounds.
As Chief Human Resources Officer at naviHealth, Dorie Ramey is responsible for driving talent and human resources strategies that enable the organization to achieve high levels of effectiveness, associate engagement, productivity, and performance. Dorie has spent the majority of her career focused on developing and connecting amazing talent to the mission of improving healthcare outcomes. Before joining naviHealth, Dorie served as chief human resources officer at Cotiviti and also held a senior human resources leadership position with Express Scripts. When she is not at work, she loves spending time outdoors with family, friends, and her Golden Retriever.
As Senior Vice President of Strategy and Transformation at naviHealth, Gary Bucciarelli is responsible for developing a long-term strategy and for sustaining near-term product and data-driven innovation. Prior to joining naviHealth, Gary focused on healthcare M&A, development, and strategy at Deloitte Consulting. He also previously held positions at The Advisory Board Company and Johns Hopkins Medicine. When not at work, Gary enjoys spending time with family and the outdoors, and he embraces any excuse to pick up a wrench, hammer, or drill.
As Chief Growth Officer at naviHealth, Greg Baumer serves many of naviHealth’s external functions, including sales, marketing, partnerships, and new solution development. Greg has spent the majority of his career focused on health care, including prior roles in healthcare investing at Advent International and healthcare consulting at McKinsey & Company. When he is not at work, Greg loves to explore Nashville’s burgeoning restaurant scene with his wife and go on “bear hunts” (i.e., family walks) with his three young kids.
As President of Market Operations at naviHealth, Harrison Frist is responsible for regional and market-based operations, client relationships, and the strategic direction of naviHealth’s health system, health plan, and ACO partners. Prior to joining naviHealth, Harrison worked in China for Chinaco Healthcare Corporation, an international hospital operator. He also worked as an investment professional for The Carlyle Group’s Global Financial Services Fund and Goldman Sachs & Co. Today, Harrison serves on the board of the Martha O’Bryan Center and The Hermitage. When not at work, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family, history, and aviation.
As Chief Medical Officer at naviHealth, Dr. Jay LaBine advances value-based care initiatives by overseeing clinical strategies, health service operations, physician leadership, and data science. He has held a variety of leadership roles in health care, including clinical practice lead as a trauma, general, and renal transplant surgeon at St. Mary’s Medical Center, a Trinity Health hospital, and serving as a U.S. Army surgeon during Operation Enduring Freedom. Most recently, Dr. LaBine worked for Spectrum Health as senior vice president and associate CMO and for Priority Health as CMO. When not at work, Dr. LaBine enjoys time with family, boating on Lake Michigan, and engaging in discussions with the book club that he’s been part of for more than 20 years.
As Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at naviHealth, LeToia Crozier takes pride in leading and educating the team on the regulatory, operational, and financial impacts of compliance and privacy programs. LeToia has spent nearly her whole career practicing compliance and law within the healthcare industry, including a senior leadership role at Change Healthcare as chief compliance and ethics officer. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of her community and serves on the board of the Youth Community Action Program. When she is not at work, LeToia also enjoys spending time with her family cooking, hiking, dancing, and traveling.
As Chief Information Security Officer at naviHealth, Shane Callahan oversees enterprise-wide information security to ensure that data, information assets, and critical infrastructure are protected for naviHealth and for all customers. Shane has worked in a wide variety of industries, including health care, military intelligence, retail, and global data protection at Deloitte. Most recently, he led the security, business continuity, and risk team at the Tractor Supply Company comprised of 28,000 end users across 1,800 locations and more than $9 billion in transactions a year. When not at work, Shane likes to spend time with his wife and kids and is a musician who is also passionate about motorcycles.
As Chief Technology Officer at naviHealth, Tom Catchings leads the Information Technology team with a focus on driving security and scalability in the Company’s internal infrastructure and powering customer-facing digital health care transformation. Tom has been a transformative technology leader in large and small companies across multiple industries for over 25 years. Most recently he served as CIO and SVP of Technology at WageWorks. Prior to WageWorks, he served as CIO and SVP at Early Warning/Zelle. When he is not at work, Tom loves to read, cook, swim and bike with his family.
As Chief Financial Officer at naviHealth, Tony Hughes oversees all corporate-wide accounting, financial planning and analysis, actuarial services and analytics, and corporate development activities. He has spent the majority of his career in health care and previously specialized in managed care mergers and acquisitions at organizations like HealthSpring and WellCare Health Plans. When not at work, Tony is an aspiring chef and can be found in the kitchen cooking up a meal for his family.
